Harnitek Mono Smart Hub Heat Pump

The Harnitek Mono Smart Hub air source heat pumps are an ideal replacement of fossil fuel boilers. They run quietly, work very well, and can be monitored online.

The Mono Package series is a type of equipment where all parts are in one unit. It’s placed outside. No need for extra refrigerant pipes, we just connect it to your home’s heating system with water connections.

The Combi Package series features an integrated system with a 250-litre hot water cylinder, pump, expansion vessels, and backup heaters. It’s pre-wired for quick and easy installation, and doesn’t require F-gas certification.

The system consists of two parts: an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. Its installation process is designed to be completed within a single day, minimizing both disruption and cost for the user.

A detailed assessment is needed for eligibility. It features an integrated control system for easy connection with other thermal technologies and existing Building Management Systems (BMS), offering detailed energy usage insights and remote system performance monitoring.

The Thermopod unit operates as a multifunctional renewable energy system, working around the clock as both a solar-powered and an air and ground source heat pump. It uses two external panels to gather heat from various natural sources, ensuring a constant hot water supply at a consistent 55°C.

The system automatically reheats the water if the temperature drops by 5°C and shuts off once it returns to the set temperature. This 24-hour operation makes the Thermopod an efficient and convenient solution for continuous hot water.

What is a heat pump?

A heat pump represents an energy-efficient and eco-friendly apparatus that maximises the utilisation of low-quality thermal energy. While heat naturally moves from hot to cold, it doesn’t naturally reverse direction. The operation of a heat pump involves a mechanical process that compels heat to move from a lower-temperature source to a higher-temperature destination in a reversed cycle. This mechanism consumes only a minimal amount of energy to achieve a significant heat transfer, effectively harnessing and conserving low-quality heat energy that would otherwise go to waste, thereby promoting energy efficiency.

The Air Source Heat Pump harnesses the ambient air as both a heat and cold source for heating and cooling purposes. Thanks to its superior cooling and heating capacity, which surpasses the energy consumption of the heat pump, it stands out as an efficient and energy-efficient product. This system combines heating, cooling, and domestic hot water functions seamlessly. Leveraging DC frequency conversion technology, it achieves an A+++ energy efficiency rating. With the adoption of EVI technology, it can operate efficiently even in extremely cold conditions as low as -30°C. Additionally, it incorporates innovative noise reduction technology, resulting in exceptionally low noise levels. It utilises the environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant, ensuring minimal environmental impact.

What are the features of CO₂ Heat Pump?

The CO₂ Heat Pump employs an environmentally friendly natural refrigerant. It operates by compressing the CO₂ refrigerant into a high-temperature, high-pressure supercritical fluid. This fluid then enters a gas cooler to exchange heat with water. The water absorbs the heat, causing its temperature to increase. Subsequently, the high-pressure fluid passes through an expansion valve, where it undergoes depressurization, absorbing heat from the surrounding air in the evaporator, and transforming into a low-pressure gas. The gas is then drawn back into the compressor for compression, initiating a continuous cycle that results in the production of hot water.

The CO₂ Heat Pump excels in high-temperature heating performance, capable of delivering water at temperatures exceeding 90℃. It also performs admirably at low temperatures, with the ability to produce high-temperature hot water even in extreme conditions as low as -35℃ ambient temperature. Moreover, it boasts high energy efficiency and a broad range of applications, operating effectively within an ambient temperature range of -35°C to 43°C. This versatility makes it suitable for generating domestic or industrial hot water in most geographical areas.

  1. To activate the warranty, it’s crucial to complete the online warranty registration within 15 days from the date of installation at www.harnitek.com/service/warranty. Once we receive your registration, a GUARANTEE confirmation will be sent to you via email within 7 working days. You can also verify this online.

  2. Harnitek products are covered by a warranty that applies exclusively to the original purchaser and protects against material or workmanship defects.

  3. The warranty period commences from the date of purchase, and any defective parts must be returned to the service engineer after any repair work.

  4. The warranty is rendered null and void if the product has been altered, misused, subjected to an accident, neglected, or modified without proper authorization, including the use of non-Harnitek approved accessories.

  5. To make a warranty claim, you will need a copy of your original receipt and the warranty card. The “Maintenance Service Registration Form” should be filled out by the maintenance personnel when conducting servicing or repair, so please keep this card secure.
